Some parents buy their children a large number of toys to play with. What are the advantages and disadvantages for the child of having a large number of toys?

Children come as a blessing to any family. They totally change the lives of parents and strengthen the couple's relationship and understanding. Some parents like to buy their children a large number of
toys
either as a token of love or appreciation. There are many advantages and
disadvantages
to
this
and we shall discuss
this
at length.
Firstly
, having a lot of
toys
has many advantages for the
child
. Many different
toys
, each targetting a different set of skills, help the interaction, concentration and develop the mind of the
child
. The
child
tends to learn things faster and understand quickly different games.
For instance
, an infant with walking support
toys
with different lights and sound helps him to learn to walk faster and
also
focus on the different light and sound it plays.
Secondly
, it builds in the
child
's self-confidence to have in possession
such
large quantities of
toys
. He will have the latest one in the market and will be up to date with the market trend. In school, he will not feel embarrassed when other children talk about new
toys
and gadgets.
On the other hand
, the
disadvantages
although
not many do have an effect on the
child
's brain. Getting a toy on every demand makes the
child
over-confident and he lacks the ability to accept rejection.
This
will definitely not be good for my personal or professional life.
Moreover
, too much of anything is
also
not good. The
child
will lose the value of
toys
and will develop a carefree approach to life. He will underestimate the value of things and not appreciate their worth.
Such
would definitely lead to chaos in practical life. To sum up, having a lot of
toys
to play with has numerous advantages and
disadvantages
. I believe the
disadvantages
overweigh in
this
case.
