Some people feel that manufacturers and supermarkets have the responsibility to reduce the amount of packaging of goods. Others argue that customers should avoid buying goods with a lot of packaging. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience
It is easily argued whether it is providers who should reduce too much packaging or consumers should keep from buying those
products
. Since this
issue is closely concerned with environmental problems, this
must not be underrated. Hence
, both sides will be discussed in this
essay with some examples.
To begin
with, it is true that the package has gotten noticeably bigger now than it used to be in order to prevent products
from being damaged. For example
, when having food delivered, there are too many side dishes, every single of which is packaged with plastic structures and wraps. This
is, of course, for delivering food safely, but it still seems like too many disposable materials. Thus
, if suppliers are willing to phase out the use of unnecessary plastics in their packages, it will certainly be helpful to cope with environmental issues.
On the other hand
, manufacturers are simply bound to follow what the public desires. For instance
, Had people not wanted products
with a lot of packaging, those would have already disappeared from the market. What this
means is that it is consumers who should move first
so that neither suppliers nor customers need that packaging. Therefore
, I opine that it is more important that the public consciously try not to consume products
that contain too many packages in it.
To conclude, even though manufacturers play an essential role in this
, considering the fact that people can change them, consumers seem more vital. As a result
, we might be able to cut down a great amount of unnecessary plastic use.Submitted by johndaegeun on
