You stayed at your friend’s house when you attended a conference in Australia. Unfortunately, you left a large envelope with some important documents in your room. Write a letter to your friend. In the letter: • thank your friend for the stay • describe where you left the envelope • ask him/her to return it to you by post
Dear Tom,
Just writing to thank you and get some help from you.
First
of all, thank you for letting me stay at your beautiful house. Without you, I wouldn't be able to attend a conference meeting, punctually, in Australia. Nothing could be more helpful than this
.
I need some more help from you though. Unfortunately, I left some documents which are enclosed in a cyan envelope. I guess it is inside the wardrobe in the room I was staying in. There are two drawers at the bottom of it. It will be great if you could check if it is there in the right one of them.
No sooner than you're able to find it, please post it to me. I would be happy if you deliver it by next
week. The address is mentioned, clearly, on the envelope enclosing this
letter.
Can't thank you enough. Massively appreciated.
Yours,
