I am currently a fourth-year student majoring in Computer Science at KAIST university, and I am looking for job opportunities
this
winter. I have followed Randstad for several years and I feel very interested in its technological products that help match job seekers with promising companies. Recently, I discovered that Randstad is opening positions for Computer Vision engineers and

To get hands-on experience in working with Machine learning models, I joined the Vision and Learning Laboratory at KAIST
last
year and worked as a research assistant.

students and our team focused on developing deep Transformer models that can process large molecule datasets.
This
project
taught me lots of valuable practical knowledge, including methods to optimize models’ performance and efficiency, large data processing techniques, and important Machine learning frameworks

as Tensorflow, Keras, and Pytorch. Throughout
this
project
, various issues emerged continuously, and by exploring new ways to solve them more quickly, my problem-solving
skills
had been enhanced significantly at the end of the
project
.
At KAIST, I
also
took many courses about Machine learning and Computer Vision and achieved a lot of relevant experience from participating in projects delivered by these courses. One
project
that I joined was in a team with three other students. We worked closely to develop the Yolo V1 model to detect objects from real-world image datasets. The model’s performance was unsatisfactory at
first
. We had to collaborate over two months to figure out the problems and integrate new features that help boost the model’s accuracy. Through
this
period, I learned appropriate communication
skills
that enabled me to communicate efficiently with my teammates which boosted the smoothness of our teamwork. I believe that these teamwork and communication
skills
in combination with the experiences that I have accumulated will make me a good fit for your company.
