Dear Madam, I am writing
this
letter to you to apologise for the meeting, I missed
last
week due to some emergency, and my efforts to cover the important things which were discussed in that meeting. I sincerely apologize that I could not attend the
last
Friday's meeting. I did not have any choice, but not to attend that meeting. Perhaps, I was well aware of the importance of that discussion's agenda. When I was heading towards the office that day, I received a phone call from the general hospital saying that one of my friends got seriously injured in an accident. Unfortunately, he has a very fatal car accident due to a truck crashing on the highway. The meeting was very crucial and must for everyone to present, and I have requested one of my colleagues to go through all the points with me which were considered there. She has agreed, and I will personally report to you at your office once I receive all the required information. Yours faithfully, Sukhwinder Singh
