Write a letter to your relative. In your letter: • Explain when and how long you will be in town. • Ask whether you can stay at their home. • Offer to pay for yourself.
Dear Meena,
Hope you and little Charlie are doing well.
I am writing
this
letter to inform you that I have booked my tickets for Singapore and would be in your city from 15th December
to 3rd January.
I decided to take this
month-long vacation as I was too stressed at work and needed a break to unwind. Also
, a close friend of mine is getting married on the 18th of December
, and I had promised to attend her wedding. I signed up for a 10-day tour on the outskirts of the city to reconnect with nature from 19th December
to 2nd January; however
, I have no accommodation from 15th December
to 17th December
. I was wondering if it would be ok if I stayed at your place for this
time, I would be willing to pay for myself and for all my expenses as well.
Please write back to me as soon as possible with your thoughts on the above as I would have to make alternate arrangements if it does not work out for you. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
