Car ownership has increased so rapidly over the past 30 years that many cities in the world are now one “big traffic jam”. More people should use public transport. Do you agree or disagree?

Over the
last
three decades, vehicle ownership has become more popular due to the fact that
people
prefer to use their own
transport
method which makes them feel more comfortable.
Therefore
, the number of private
cars
incredibly increased and made a high level of traffic jams. In my opinion,
people
must be encouraged to use public
transport
rather than private
cars
. In
this
essay, I will be discussing
this
matter and explain my point of view.
First
of all, frankly speaking about the luxury of using private
transport
in social life it's really amazing when you feel that you are flexible with the movement without being aware of public
transport
schedules and wasting the time while
waiting
Add the preposition
forwaiting
show examples
the dedicated bus for your trip
in addition
to the weather bad conditions.
For example
, if you’re using your own car, you can easily start your journey whenever you are ready without walking away to reach a bus station especially when it rains.
On the other hand
, to be honest, despite the fact that
people
are used to being lazy because of using their private
cars
, the situation of the traffic jams is getting terrible day by day and the usage of public transportation is going down, imagine if you want to go somewhere normally takes 1 hour to arrive, but because of the traffic it takes more than two hours.
Moreover
, the bad impact of pollution resulted from
cars
.
For instance
,
last
week I had to take my mother to the hospital, and it took me three hours for a distance of 60 KMs and eventually, we lost our appointment! To sum up, I would rather the government take the responsibility of raising awareness to promote
people
on the disadvantages of using private
transport
and encourage them to use public transportation that has a better impact on the society and environment in general.
