The charts illustrate the
employment
 percentages of three different
age
 groups (15-19, 35-44, 60-64) in Australia for both males and females in the three years namely 1984, 2001 and 2014. After analysing the data, we observed that middle-aged men (35-44) had similar
employment
 proportions in all three years. Women in the
age
 group 15-19 had the same trend with a slight decline in the
last
 year. It is interesting to note that the young Australian females of the
age
 group (15-19) are more employed as compared to young men in all the years. Older women (60-64) are getting more employed with time as we can witness an increasing trend in their
employment
 from around 10% in 1984 to nearly 42% in 2014.
Similarly
, middle-aged women have
also
 got better opportunities as the work percentage hiked from approximately 58% in 1984 to nearly 78% in 2014.
In contrast
 to the above, there is not much deviation seen in the
employment
 percentages of Australian men with the only exception of the older
age
 group where a noticeable hike is witnessed from around 40% in 2001 to almost 60% in 2014.
