In many countries, too much money was spent by government and individuals on national celebration such as New Year and religious festivals. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Every National festival frequently spends too much money on the event day,
for example
on New Year or other religious celebration days, by government and folk.In my point of view, I disagree with
this
statement due to several reasons
such
as its enhancing the country's economy and
also
preserving the culture.
First
of all, during the event period, many areas and streets will be decorated to make it more festive and relate to the festivals.
For example
, in December each year , places
such
as markets, malls, cafes, restaurants and many others decorate with Santa clause dolls, reindeer, and Christmas trees, and even create fake snow. Afterwards, it encourages tourists to come and visit.
Moreover
, the people in the country
also
come out of their homes to join the festival.
This
brings a lot of benefits on the economic side because the tourists and individuals will come out and spend money.
Besides
the economic benefits, it
also
preserves the culture of the children. There are many religious festivals which teach something more than just partying.
For instance
, Songkran days is the festival in Thailand when people splash water on others. On
this
day, in a religious way,the children will pray to their parents which teaches the kids to give respect them. To summarize, even though the government and people spend a lot of money on the festival season, I agree with
this
action because its advantages outweigh the disadvantages including supporting the economy and maintaining the religious culture. ,

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
