The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

The two charts above are presenting the data related to housework and electrical appliances. In the
first
chart
, we can see that the overall percentages are increasing, which means that there are more and more
families
holding electrical appliances from 1920 to 2019. Looking at the
graph
for the refrigerator, we can see that they changed the most rapidly, there was almost 0% of the households that had a fridge in 1920.
However
, in 1980, all the
families
in
this
country had a fridge in the house.
In addition
, there is a weird
graph
in the
first
chart
, which is the
graph
of the washing machine. There was a significant drop from 1960 to 1980. Moving on to the
second
chart
. The housework hours have been decreasing relatively steadily. One thing that deserves to be noticed is that the graphs in the
first
chart
are inversely proportional to the
graph
in the
second
chart
. In conclusion, we can say the increase in
families
having electrical appliances decreases the time that
families
spend on doing housework.
