You saw an advertise in a newspaper about a vacancy in a local restaurant, searching for a chef to their kitchen. You would like to do some work at the diner. Write a letter to the owner of the restaurant saying you would like to work at his business. In your letter: • explain why you would like to do this kind of work (1) • say what type of work you have experience with (2) • give details on how the owner may contact you. (3)

Dear Sir, I'm writing with regard to a job offer in your establishment, announced in a local paper which I would like to apply to. Two days ago, I saw that a chef will be hired for your cousin and based on the skills required I would say that
this
opportunity suits me. Fortunately, I'm an expert cook in Italian food
such
as your business as well. My main job was cooking in a busy takeaway trailer in the city centre for the
last
three years, so coping with pressure is something that I am used to.
This
experience which you are offering would be a great opportunity for me, as I led a small assistants team in my
last
job, but now I could challenge myself with
this
big group and support them until they reach a great performance, in
this
way the business would expand as my career as well. At the end of
this
letter, there is my contact number, which is my Whatsapp as well, so feel free to reach me in any way
that is
better for you. I hope we would discuss
further
information about my knowledge and experiences and maybe schedule a trial. I look forward to receiving your response, Yours sincerely, Pollyanna Souza
