The flowchart illustrates the system of hydroelectric generation which is well-known as an environmentally friendly electric generation system over the world. As a whole, there are four stages in the process namely
water
through a sluice gate, turning a
turbine
,
power
generation, and
power
transmission. Looking at the diagram in detail, the process starts with
water
flowing from a slice gate in a storage reservoir to a
turbine
.
This
is followed by the
turbine
whirl because of
water
pressure from a dam. During the
second
stage,
water
, which flowed from the dam, flow to the downstream outlet. When it comes to the
third
stage,
power
is generated by spinning the
turbine
in a powerhouse. The reason it can generate
power
is so that a shaft is connected between the
turbine
and the electricity generator. Eventually, in the fourth phase, the generated
power
is supplied by
power
transmission cables.
In addition
, in the
last
phase, the voltage of generated
power
is transformed into the appropriate supply voltage by a transmitter.
