In some countries, more and more adults are living with their parents after graduating from college, university, or even after finding a job. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent times, more and more
people
stay in their parent's household long after they finish their studies or after they get a job.
This
has created a debate on whether
this
phenomenon has more positive attributes to offer to society than negatives. I think that
this
phenomenon should be considered a problem.
Firstly
, there are
people
who think adults should stay with their
parents
with the argument that families should always stay united.
For example
, a household that includes many family members can be safer and warmer for them. Elderly members can take care of the children when their
parents
are away from home, which in other cases would have been a problem.
Overall
,
this
view is adopted by
people
who highly value the institution of the family.
In contrast
, there are
people
who consider the increasing number of individuals living longer with their
parents
as an issue to be fixed. They argue
this
is happening because nowadays it is more difficult for adults to be financially independent so they cannot move out.
Also
, on top of ,that there is the housing problem modern cities are facing where house prices are off the roof and the market is small. So, in
this
point of ,view individuals stay with their
parents
as a solution to their financial problems. After thoroughly examining all that mentioned above, my personal opinion is that the latter view on the subject is closer to reality.
Although
there are some individuals that stay in the house they grew up in
due to
personal choice, the majority of them are unable to support a family and have their own apartment.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
