As the transportation and accommodation problem increases in big cities, some governments are encouraging the business move from the city to the rural area. Do the advantages of the outweigh the disadvantages?

As the metro cities develop,
people
from underdeveloped
areas
migrate here in search of better employment opportunities.
As a result
, big cities get overcrowded and
this
leads to a shortage of housing facilities and increasing traffic problems. In order to overcome
this
situation, some governments are encouraging companies to set up their business in rural
areas
. In
this
essay, I will elucidate why the benefits of
this
situation outweigh its shortcomings. It is an undeniable fact that setting up factories and industries in the countryside will lead to an increase in pollution. It does not
also
have
also
has a detrimental impact on the environment but the beauty of the place is
also
ruined. There are various instances where forest
areas
were destroyed in the name of development.
Moreover
,
this
will lead to additional burdens on the government as they will have to provide subsidies and tax relief to corporates.
For instance
, the state government of Maharashtra has rolled out various tax relief schemes to promote the setting up of businesses in underdeveloped
areas
. Because of
this
, they are facing heavy tax losses and a budget deficit.
Although
there are many disadvantages to
this
situation, it has been proven beneficial for the majority of the population.
First,
it provided employment opportunities for
people
living in rural
areas
.
Additionally
, as the
overall
area gets developed, they
also
benefit from improved transportation and medical facilities.
Moreover
,
this
will prevent overcrowding of metro
areas
since the masses will find enough local employment opportunities. To exemplify, since the local economy is booming, over the
last
five years the number of
people
migrating from Bihar, one of the biggest states in India, has reduced by 20%.
To Conclude
, even though the development of rural
areas
will increase the problem of environmental degradation, it will definitely help in improving the social and economic status of the
people
living here.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.
