You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

Many people in poor countries die from diseases that are curable because they cannot afford the medication required. Do you believe that drug companies should make their products available at reduced prices in these countries?
The citizens of underdeveloped countries often have to face death due to illness which could be cured but they could not afford the treatment. It is believed that the pharmaceutical industry should come forward to distribute their medicines at an affordable price in these countries. I strongly support the strategy as it will have some notable beneficial aspects including the justifiable allocation of medicines among the countries as well as reduction of death tolls in impoverished countries.

In certain areas of the world, it becomes a trend to have a pedigree analysis of one’s own family because people want to be aware of their medical history due to growing disease rate nowadays. In my opinion, it is a positive approach as it would help them to identify suspected inherited syndromes.
