Some people think that hosting international sports events is good for the country, while some people think it is bad. Discuss both views and state your opinion.

The opinion,regarding holding international
sports
events in a
country
is debatable as some people think it is beneficial to the
country
and others are against that.
this
essay will discuss both views and I consider
this
development in a positive way. On one hand , sport is an event which gathers many nationalities together allowing them to experience and tolerate equalities and differences.Hosting
this
type of event will enhance understanding about each other ,contributing to mutual tolerance among countries ,
hence
empowering international affairs in a better way.
Furthermore
, the
country
which organizes
sports
festivals definitely going to have recognition over the world.
in other words
, invariably their culture, food, and tradition, will be in the interest of others and that will indirectly empower their tourism and trading in a great way.
On the other hand
, there are some unfavourable outcomes, which make some people believe
this
is a negative trend.The particular
country
has to spend an extravagant amount of money when they are organising an international occasion that might have an impact on their financial status. As an example,Srilanka hosted the Asian games recently and it made a hard blow on the economy because the government had to improve all infrastructure facilities within a short period of time for the
sports
city which was designed for the meet.
Although
it was held in an attractive manner, the debt which was created because of the event was enormous still the
country
is paying for that. In my opinion,I believe a
country
should host international
sports
events as it benefits greatly outweigh the possible disadvantages.
Besides
,international harmony is the ultimate goal of civilization and it is possible to achieve
this
through
sports
ceremonies which will make a platform to recognize each other which in turn will pave the pathway to a better world.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
