With the advent of the Internet and social media networks, online shopping has become more popular among people. Although some feel that this trend is causing the end of high street shops, I, however, believe that high street shops are still popular among people in three main areas.
In the modern world, it is undeniable that many parents place excessive pressure on their children to achieve success. This trend has become increasingly common in today’s competitive societies. In this essay, an attempt will be made to examine the reasons behind this behaviour, along with its positive and negative aspects.
It is certainly true that many individuals think that a balanced diet and daily exercise are necessary for a healthy life. I completely agree with this statement and have given my reason below.
Nowadays, human activities negatively impact the environment; thus, several people are encouraged to research alternative areas to live such as Mars, Saturnus, etc. This is because the Earth - a planet where humans live - has been unsuitable for their habitats. However, I disagree with this strategy since it does not effectively solve the root of the problems of global warming.
Nowadays, the majority of parents prefer to teach their children themselves rather than educate them at school. While there are some visible downsides, such as limited social skills and unqualified parents, I believe the upsides - individual learning and a flexible environment - can be far greater.
