Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regard to a post that you published in the "Daily Life" magazine one week ago. I would love to be considered for the position you are looking to fill because I adore working with kids. Back in Argentina, I spent almost every day going to my sister's house and helping her to take care of my niece. I
also
consider that Australia has a lot of beautiful outdoor spaces, which I love to go and visit with your kid.
One thing I believe that is
important for you to know is that I worked as a teacher in a primary school for 6 years teaching kids from first grade, so I think this
could be a great asset for you to have someone who can give your kid an extra help in the case is need it.
To conclude
with my letter, which I do not want to make it long, I would like to say that I came to this
country 2 months ago to discover their many options of
beaches. Change preposition
for
Due to
this
, during my days off, I would like to travel around the territory and look at what I might find.
I look forward to a prompt response,
Yours faithfully,

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
