The graph depicts the proportion of students
as well as
their parents who have owned cell phones since 14 years ago at Jenny's school,
while
the table represents the percentage of those who have a mobile device in that country in the year 2002, 2010, and 2016. On the whole, the figure in both chart and table are increasing and the rates of cell phone ownership for students saw rapid growth as compared to the parents' rates. Now, turning to the details, in the beginning, only less than 5% of students at Jenny's school have mobile devices. It
then
increased significantly with the highest surge at around 30% proportion between 2012 and 2014.
Whereas
, the number of parents from Jenny's school who owned mobile phones in 2002 is almost half and rose moderately until 2016 reach at about 80% phone ownership rate. It is interesting to note that the previous graph correlated positively with the number of people who have cell phones nationwide with the percentage of 60%, 85%, and 96% in the year 2002, 2010, and 2016 respectively.
