Many countries use fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) as the main source of energy. However, in some countries the use of the alternative sources of energy (wind energy and solar energy) is encouraged. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this development?

 in some countries are being couraged to be used as the replacement for fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas. From my perspective, I would agree with the policy about shifting initiatives from non-renewable
energy
 to renewable
energy
. Nonrenewable
energy
 may carry some benefits for some countries
such
 as Saudi Arabia and Russia because they have a lot of resources,
while
 the demand for them increases over the year. But the ugly truth is, those fuel resources
also
 brought harm to our environment. We can agree to disagree but the earth nowadays is heading to critical levels
due to
 climate change and if we not trying to stop it, in the future, we may never see our blue planet liveable again. For the sake of a greener environment, and the future generation's life, we need to make the
energy
-shifting initiative into a mandatory policy for every
country
 in the world to implement it. Some advanced countries were already to took part in
this
 initiative. The Netherlands is one of them.
This
country
 is proof that green
energy
 can light up a nation. They used plenty of windmills, advancing the wind
energy
 to drive the propeller
hence
 generating the power to energise the whole
country
. Despite the success story, the Netherlands only had less than five hundred thousand miles per square area,
this
 may become an issue for a
country
 with a larger area
due to
 the coverage will exponentially wider and
hence
 costing a lot more money. In conclusion, encouraging the use of renewable
energy
 to replace non-renewable one should be the top priority for every
country
 to preserve nature and its sustainability,
while
on the other hand
, it
also
 brings issues because it cost many resources to build it.
