Nowadays, not enough students choose science subjects at university in many countries. Why is this? What effects does this have on society?

In
this
sophisticated era, fewer pupils in several countries choose
science
subjects
when they apply for college.
This
phenomenon may occur because jobs that are offered to
students
who graduate from
this
major do not compromise.
As a result
, if
this
case happens for a long time period, there will be a tendency for
knowledge
to be stuck.
To begin
, the first thing that
people
will concern about before they choose their
subjects
is the work field that they may have after finishing their studies.
However
, some
subjects
at university seem uncompromising for future work
such
as
science
.
For example
, it is undoubtedly that many jobs these days are open for those who have a degree in technology or computer.
In contrast
, pupils who graduate from
science
find it challenging to get hired by several companies.
Thus
, many
students
from several countries consider
science
subject as the least choice for them.
Furthermore
, if
this
phenomenon happens in 10 or 20 years, there will be a predisposition for unimprovement in
knowledge
among societies. One of the reasons why
science
subjects
become important is that the expansion of human is always started from
science
.
For instance
, researching human history entails
knowledge
gained from learning
science
.
Therefore
, If there just a few
people
choose
this
subject,
people
might become more stupid than before. On the basis of these statements, it can be concluded that in many countries an increasing number of
students
do not choose
science
as their major because they consider their future job. Needless to say that if
this
case happens
people
might not improve their
knowledge
. Given
this
situation, it is important for
students
to choose
science
as their major so that by working together they can do research that will provide merits to the societies.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
