The graph below shows the percentage of households with different kinds of technology in the U.S. from 1995 to 1999. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates the
proportion
of American families equipped with various domestic appliances over the period between 1995 and 1999. It is conspicuous that the usage of all facilities showed an
overall
rising tendency from 1995 to 1999, with the only exception that the percentage of houses using DVD players decreased from 1995 to 1996. Over the shown period, the washing machines enjoyed the most prevalence and the
proportion
of mobile usage saw the biggest increment. In 1995, less than 20 per
cent
of households had access to cell phones,
while
washing machines were already popular around the United States (around 60 per
cent
).
However
, the figure for mobile phones rocketed dramatically in the remaining years, reaching more than 70 per
cent
and almost catching up with the
proportion
of washing machines( 80 per
cent
of American families were equipped with one). It's worth mentioning that the resemblances could be seen in the trends of the Internet and DVD player where they experienced the same growth between 1997 and 1998, increasing from approximately 20 per
cent
to 30 per
cent
. Before 1999, the percentage of households with computers continuously ranked No.2 of those appliances,
whereas
the
proportion
of telephones overtook the place of the Internet from 1998 to 1999.
