Your friend just had a baby. You decided to prepare a present for them. Write a letter and say : 1. Congratulate your friend 2. Ask when would be possible for you to visit 3. Ask what present they would like.

Dear Tammy How are you recently? Congratulations on your newborn baby boy, Nicolas. My family and I are so happy for the three of you. I wish to visit you and meet baby Nicolas as soon as possible. Besides
, I have prepared a gift list for you two. As I want to make sure the presents that I prepared will be useful and would not duplicate the things that you have already got at home, would you mind helping me to eliminate some of the suggestions or telling me your preference ? Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
