In many countries, children are not exercising as much as before and are becoming more and more overweight. What is your opinion of this situation?

Child obesity is becoming one of the major concerns among developed and developing countries. It is observed that the lifestyle given by our
parents
is the cause of
this
arising problem and some blame industrialization for healthy habits. A lot of factors determine the health of a juvenile. If they are given proper nutrition at an early age it is guaranteed that they will be in good physical condition. Nowadays the advancement in technology and the busy schedules of
parents
have made them opt for shortcuts whether it is food or making a kid stop crying, everything has a loophole. A study conducted by discovery channel proves that if an adolescent is eating their meals
while
watching television, they tend to eat more as compared to if they eat in a traditional setting, at a dining table. These trends have caused rising weight among children that ultimately lead to major health issues at a young age. Modernisation
also
plays a huge role in our lives. It has altered our lives in many ways. In the olden ,days people used to walk miles to reach a certain destination which helped them  have a good physique which resulted in them living for longer years
whereas
now with everything available in one click has made us lazy because of which children are becoming physically and mentally drained.
According to
me no one but
parents
can protect their children by initiating a certain set of schedules for their kids to follow when it comes to using technology. Apart from that
parents
should
also
make their kids take part in physical activities like sports.
