Newer is better. Business advertisements nowadays often indicate that they have something brand new in their

. There are several reasons for
this
interesting social phenomenon. First and foremost, most people are easy to be attracted by something he/she did not see before. An advertisement on the Internet,
for example

one
before a video starts playing, can only be shown no longer than 30 seconds. What’s more, people’s interest towards the ad could be much more transient. As result, advertisers should show potential customers things that can immediately catch their eye, in case people lose interest in the common-to-see
products
very soon.
Second,
as globalization proceeds, business competition is becoming more and more serious and companies from all over the world selling the same kind of product may gather and compete cruelly. Under
this
condition, an advertisement without characteristics is quite likely to be drowned in the flood of similar ones.
For example
, mobile phone functionalities in China develop very quickly. When
one
brand promotes its “supercharge technology”, another
one
develops its “efficient memory management technology” very soon to make it stand out from so many phone brands. That’s to say, only those whose
products
have something new can be the winner. And the reason is very clear: customers only buy

phone, so they will choose the newest

is a very positive phenomenon. With companies competing together to develop characteristic
