You have been doing some voluntary work to help your local community. However, now you are unable to continue doing this work. Write a letter to the manager of the organisation where you have been working. In your letter: describe the work you have been doing; explain why you can no longer do this work; recommend another person who is interested in the work.
Dear ,Mister Smith
Writing to you to tell you bad news.As you know I was a student in the
last
form of school. All my life I had green fingers and tried to do for nature protection as much as I could. However
,I have just passed my A-levels,hence
,I am moving to another city for entering to the university.Unfortunately,I will be about 2 or 3 times per month, due to
this
I can't carry on doing voluntary work.On the other hand
,one friend of mine, whose name is Mike is passionate about nature and voluntary work. Two days ago I bumped into him on the street. We had a short talk about my future and my plans.I mentioned that I am moving in 2 days so it is a place in the voluntary centre. He was excited by this
,moreover
,he beg me for telling a word to you.I recommend him wholeheartedly,
because he has the same state of mind as me and is highly curious about volunteering.
Hope you will find fresh blood for my place.Your company does a great job for the future of our planet. Thanks for all the memorable years which I spend there.
Sincerely

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
