Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?

Some people believe that doing pleasant activities with
children
enhances their
creativity
and general
skills
better than reading.
Although
I agree that incentivising
creativity
through different sorts of activities brings a wide range of benefits. I firmly would not discard reading as a tool that leads to the improvement of
skills
and the development of
creativity
. In
this
context, playing competitive games with
children
can help them not only develop social
skills
nor
Correct word choice
and
show examples
deal with frustration but it can
also
, expand their knowledge.
For instance
, memory game, aids in high concentration and memorization,
besides
that, it
also
helps to develop spatial intelligence.
Furthermore
, regular exercise can be associated with improved divergent and convergent thinking, which are considered the two components of creative thinking.
On the other hand
, reading has many benefits.
For example
, reading fiction books can assist
children
with their imagination of
creativity
which can help them improve their storytelling.
Overall
, the habit of reading leads to better language
skills
and
further
cognitive development when compared to kids that do not read vigorously.
Therefore
, even if some people believe that reading could be a boring activity, they should incentive their
children
to do it
due to
the merits of it.
Moreover
, I do not believe that doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop higher
skills
than reading.
Thus
, the habit of reading a book is already proven to bring a range of benefits. In
this
framework, I think their boons are equivalent and should be both encouraged. In conclusion, all activities should be encouraged by parents, no active boons supersede others, they could aim different or similar
skills
and all help on the kid development, because of
this
is should not be ignored.
