Some people think that the education system should only focus on preparing students for employment, while others believe it has other important functions. Discuss both side and then give your opinion
In recent years, the issue of the study system has been brought to the public attention. Some
people
put forward the idea that the study structure
should only focus
on preparing students for employment . Nevertheless
, those people
who are opposed to it hold the view that it has other important functions. Taking both sides of the argument into consideration, I am of the opinion that teaching has other important purposes. My arguments for this
point are listed in the following.
Firstly
, the most important factor is that the learning structure
has a very meaningful function which is the area of soft skills
. Many people
claim that a job
is more important as it can earn money. It seems that focusing on preparing to be a better career has an obvious effect. However
, it is not the case. Soft skill such
as communication skills
, developing a good personality and teamwork is much more important than employment. Therefore
, the learning structure
should not only focus
on the job
.
Second,
another factor is that the education scheme could also
focus
on life skills
and how to find out different habits. Research repeatedly suggested that many people
who finish the programme for a master's or hold a degree still could not find a job
. A lot of interviewers rejected them. The reason is those students are just learning machines, without any soft skills
or life skills
. So, the teaching system should not only focus
on the career.
In conclusion, I hold an unshakable view that the learning structure
has other important functions which bring more benefits to the students. Life skill, diversity of development, teamwork and being a good person is more essential than finding a job
