The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the process of making matches.
The diagram describes how matches are made with special equipment.
In general, it is a hand-made process. There are 8 stages to produce them. First of all, we use a peeler to peel logs
while
using a veneer and a blade to make the wood look better. After that, we put peeled wood into a small stick.
Then
, we put it into the ammonium phosphate tank and after that, we have to dry the log which has been dipped into a tank by using a dryer. After making the stick dry, we place it into a hopper and it is going through the metal duct by using a blower which blows it to the storage area. The stick in the storage area will drop on the convener and after, it will fall into the inserter.
Then
, the stick will be put on a perforated steel belt which brings them to three chemical tanks
such
as paraffin wax, based chemical and tip chemical. After all these stages sticks are
finally
going to a packaging area.
Thus
, the matches are going to be packed there.
