Some people believe that it is essential to include Physical Education classes in the curriculum for all school-age children. Others think that children's time is better spent on more academic subjects. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. You should write at least 250 words. You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

It has been long debated whether schools should emphasise the subject of physical education or not. Some believe that it is the responsibility of the parents
while
others camp with the idea that schools should be responsible for the same giving a whole experience to the students. Let's discuss the pros and cons in the following paragraphs. Talking about the benefits of including physical education as a part of the curriculum, will increase activity among children. Nowadays, the younger generation tends to interact more with their phones and laptops eventually increasing their screen time.
This
leads to strain on the eyes and more stress on the brain.
Besides
, many studies conducted around the globe have proven that being physically active increases learning capabilities.
On the other hand
, the world requires more and more numbers of teachers, doctors and engineers.
Additionally
, getting into universities has become very competitive than it used to be.
This
all sums up to students spending long hours focusing on academics and leaving less time for exercising. In my opinion, exercising is equally important, if not more, as being academically performant in science and maths. The younger generation shapes the future, and our future is getting obese and lazy with every passing year. To quote the saying, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"
also
supports the argument that exercising should be added to the curriculum.
