You and a friend recently went on a holiday together. There is a problem with the photos you have taken during the holiday. Write a letter to your friend to ask for a particular shot. In your letter tell him/her about the problem with your photos say which photo you would like him/her to send you explain why you need this photo.

Dear John, I am writing to you to thank you for
this
great holiday that we spent together
last
month. It was an unforgettable experience, and I hope we will have some new opportunities to do something like
this
again. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with my camera's memory card, and I have a feeling, that some of my shots are missing. Do you remember the top of that mountain, where we met a couple of French tourists? They asked us to take a photo with them with the valley in the background, and
then
we asked them to do the same for us. Here is a problem: I cannot find the shot on the memory card, it has to be there

because it is the only card I had there. I clearly recall, that the couple took the shots on both, my and your, cameras. I know that you took much more shots on your camera than I did on mine, and you usually do not sort and select them in short terms, but, could you, please, find some time to search through your photos and send
this
particular photo to me?

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
