The plans below show the layout of a university's sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The maps illustrate the current plan for the
gym
 of a college and its reconstruction plan for the future. Looking from an
overall
 perspective, it is readily apparent that the
gym
 will witness dramatic change with regard to the construction of a new
pool

sports
 hall, dance studios, and other facilities.
According to
 the first diagram which demonstrates the current version of the
sports
 centre, a 25 metres
pool
 is located in the middle of the place which is surrounded by the
gym
 to the north, the seating area to the east, the reception to the south, and the changing room to the west of the centre.

 outdoor courts are placed on

 sides of the place. In the second map, the location of the previous

, changing room, reception, and seating area will remain the same.

 will be expanded towards the east and a

 hall will be built to the east of the seating place and to the south of the
