Handwriting is the key to understanding and expressing a language in written form. However, recently a statement has been raised for discussion that schools should not teach handwriting because it is no longer needed in the world of modern technology. I do not agree with the statement despite accepting the fact that the requirement of writing is very low in the modern world. I will explain my disagreement.

With the development of technology, it is now possible for people to study the history of their ancestors. There are several rationales that encourage modern citizens to conduct this research. In my perspective, I assume that this may be a breakthrough movement of human beings to identify their roots. In this essay, I shall put forth some ideas to exemplify this positive development with some lucid examples.
