I am writing to express my concern about the trash collecting unit in our locality. Society is very concerned about

issue as it is posing a negative impact on the surrounding.
The vehicles used to collect garbage are not adequately serviced. It causes the spillage of waste materials on the roads spreading intolerable smells in the area. Moreover
, the staff is also
irresponsible and collects the rubbish after several days.
This
is giving rise to the breed of mosquitos hence
diseases like malaria and dengue are breaking out. Children are also
reluctant to play outside due to
an unhealthy environment. People are tense regarding the health of their children. Elderly people are also
avoiding going out and made hostage within their homes.
I would like to bring to your kind consideration that measures should be taken to resolve the matter as it is greatly affecting human lives throughout the region. Maintenance of vehicles should be carried out on a monthly basis and attendance of staff should be monitored.
