While many people go to university for academic study, more people should be encouraged to do vocational training because there is a lack of qualified workers such as electricians and plumbers. Do you agree or disagree?

People
have differing views about whether students should participate in training for vocations which require technical skills or go to universities.
While
I accept that vocational training is vital for providing numerous qualified workers, I believe that studying
academics
at universities plays a more important role in our
society
. Encouraging
people
to vocational training is likely to benefit
people
's lives in various ways. The main reason in favour of the argument is that technicians like electricians, plumbers and mechanicals are the only occupations that have skills to tackle problems related to electricity, pipe, and cars that academic students will not be able to solve. If we do not have enough
such
technicians,
people
may waste their time waiting for the repair which will affect their lives of
people
.
For example
, if the pipe and pump at home go down, they will not have water for use. Unless there is a plumber available to help them.
However
, I would argue that learning theory plays a more significant role in improving
society
as a whole.
Firstly
,
academics
is a basis for a living, and knowing broadly will give more advantages to
such
a person.
For instance
, if some
people
infringe on someone's fundamental rights, they will know how to fight back.
As a result
of studying
academics
,
people
will know how to overcome difficulties.
Secondly
,
academics
tend to have more potential to improve
society
, nature and the world. Because of the learning, they have enough knowledge to help build a reliable
society
and help the world from global
warmings
Fix the agreement mistake
warming
show examples
such
as economists, naturists and scientists. Without them, the human race may not have a healthy economy, forests and more severe global warming.
Finally
,
people
can learn how to fix some simple things in their household from the book.
Therefore
, technicians may not be that urgent for them. In conclusion, I believe that going to university to acquire knowledge is a priority that everyone should do to improve their lives.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
