Some people sa that modern technology has made shopping today easier. while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinio

There are different opinions on how
technology
has affected shopping around the world;
while
some believe
technology
has made shopping easier, others hold a contrary view. The purpose of
this
essay is to discuss the positive and negative impacts of
technology
on the shopping experiences of individuals and
also
to state what my view is.
Firstly
, automation has succeeded in bridging the gap between producers and consumers who ordinarily exist miles apart geographically, whereby producers have the opportunity to market their products to anyone regardless of the distance and buyers
also
, are able to purchase any item of their choice from locations they have never visited.
Secondly
, it is easier to compare prices of various goods across different websites simply because of technological innovations,
this
makes it possible for one to buy at a very favourable price without spending an extra cost on transportation if faced with the option of window-shopping in different stores. On the flip side ,
however
, products' pictures are not very clear on devices and most times, a buyer will only discover that a product is not exactly as it appeared online only after payment has been made and the product is delivered.
Furthermore
, there is a possibility that a supplier will send to a customer, products of lower quality
in contrast
to the exact specifications requested by the buyer. In my opinion, I strongly believe
technology
has made shopping easier and that consumers will be able to eliminate obvious drawbacks to a very minimal level by carefully going through the legal purchase policies of companies to ensure the conditions are suitable for them, before deciding to patronize them.
