1.You have recently attended a job interview and have been offered the job. Write a letter to the company accepting the job offer, and provide details about when you will be able to start and any other information you think they may need.
I am writing
this
letter to inform you regarding my job interview for the post of counselling psychologist in your organisation for which I was selected. Looking at all the terms and conditions I accept your offer and agree to everything mentioned in the contract.
It would be a great boost in my career to work with your firm. Currently, I am working somewhere for which I need to give them notice of 1 month before leaving as they might need time to prepare my documents. I would be able to start next month as I will clear all my pending work.
I would appreciate it if you please let me know about any kind of document that you might need from my side. Also
, if you want any kind of personal or professional information you can always call or write to me by email.
Waiting for your response.
Yours sincerely,

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
