Your friend recently came to your birthday party and bought you an expensive present. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter • thank your friend • explain how useful the present is • arrange to meet up with your friend sometime soon

Dear SIMON JohneS
This
is to express thanks for the gift . I am really happy and glad to receive a tablet as a gift from you. I am really looking forward to using it . The gift is really nice. As I was really planning to buy one from the shop.
Although
I can use it now for project research and development work , It will help me in completing my official work on time. As previously I have to go to the cyber cafe to download research material and save it on my google drive. It will increase my efficiency so that I can complete projects before deadlines.
Furthermore
, I like to meet you in person to express my gratitude. We can meet in a restaurant and enjoy lunch or dinner.
Moreover
,I am eager to host you . please let me know when I can meet you so that we can plan the schedule like the date and time. Looking for a quick response . Cheers Michel Brendon

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
