The line graph illustrates the hours per week that teenagers occupied doing various activities in Chester between 2002 and 2007
Overall
, It can be seen from the graph that watching television is the most popular activity among teenagers,
whereas
bowling is the least popular
To begin
with, watching television remained stable in the first 2 years, though it increased considerably, reaching the highest point of around 37 in 2007. Compared to watching television, going to pubs and discos and shopping followed the same movement or a similar tendency in general. The 2 trends I mentioned went up sharply throughout the period, reaching 15 and 17.
However
, shopping faced a stable direction in the final 2 years. Doing sports witnessed a sharp decrease during the given period compared to doing homework which went down slightly. Bowling experienced the same trend as doing homework, starting under 5 and finishing at 1. Watching DVDs fluctuated over the 5-year period, reaching a peak of 17 before plunging.
