the plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today

The maps below illustrate the main changes that have taken place in Grange
Park
since 1920 and after reconstructions. Generally speaking, almost the whole layout of the
park
has been changed noticeably except for the entrances from Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street. The
park
was
initially
opened in 1920 since that time it has developed drastically. The main feature is that the fountain which was located on right in the centre of the
park
has been replaced by the rose garden with seats, which surround it from each side.
According to
the initial plan, there used to be rose gardens and seats around the perimeter of the area. Even though the majority have been removed by the present, the rose garden on the north side has remained.
Furthermore
, the stage for musicians, which was located on the east side, was demolished and an amphitheatre has been built in that place.
In addition
, the glasshouse in the lower right corner has been taken down and replaced by the water feature.
