In recent years, the trend of living in high-rise accommodations has become increasingly popular in urban areas.
While
some people argue that living in
such
properties leads to feelings of isolation and unhappiness, others contend that there are benefits to living in larger flat complexes. In
this
essay, I will discuss both perspectives and provide my own opinion. On the one hand, those who argue that living in high-rise penthouses can be a lonely experience point to several factors.
First,
such
ownerships are often densely populated, with many
residents
coming and going at all hours of the day and night.
This
can make it difficult for
residents
to form meaningful connections with their neighbours. What's more, high-rise
buildings
often lack communal spaces or amenities where
residents
can come together and interact. Without
such
spaces, it can be challenging for people to build a sense of community within the building.
On the other hand
, there are advantages to living in larger accommodation complexes. For one thing, these types of
buildings
typically offer a wide range of amenities that would be difficult or impossible to provide in smaller dwellings. These may include fitness centres, swimming pools, rooftop gardens, and other shared spaces that can enhance
residents
' quality of life.
Additionally
, living in a high-rise apartment can offer stunning views of the surrounding cityscape, which can be a source of pleasure and inspiration for
residents
. In my opinion, the benefits of living in high-rise apartments outweigh the potential drawbacks though it is true that
such
buildings
can be impersonal and lonely at times, the amenities and conveniences they offer overweight all negatives.
Moreover
, with the rise of social media and online networking platforms, it is easier than ever for people to connect with others and build relationships, even if they do not live in close physical proximity. In conclusion,
while
it is true that living in high-rise apartments can be a solitary experience, I believe that the benefits of
such
buildings
outweigh the potential drawbacks. Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to live in a high-rise apartment will depend on an individual's personal preferences and priorities
