The bar chart below shows the number of houses built per year in two cities, Derby and Nottingham, Between 2000 and 2009
The diagram illustrates how many
houses
were constructed per year in two different cities: Derby and Nottingham over a nearly 10-year period, starting in 2000.
Overall
, it is immediately observed that both cities saw an upward trend in the number
of houses
built. Additionally
, at the beginning of the period, more houses
were built in Derby than in Nottingham, while
by the end, the opposite shown is true.
On the one hand, from 2000 to 2001, the number
of newly built homes in Derby was around 50. This
figure rose steadily to about 125 homes in the next 3 years, then
remained unchanged till 2007.
Then
after that, the number
of houses
built significantly increased in 2008 and 2009, accounting for 275 houses
and 350 houses
respectively.
On the other hand
, Nottingham City followed a rather different pattern. Between 2000 and 20005, the number
of new homes fluctuated around 50 houses
before dropping to almost 0 in 2006. A remarkable increase of about approximately 200 in 2007. This
figure have come to 0 once in 2008; however
, it was an incredible increase to 250 new houses
built in 2009.Submitted by hihihahahoho on
