Dear Mirna, Hope
this
mail finds you well. It’s been a
while
since we have been in touch so I thought about writing to you. The
last
time we spoke you told me that you are facing difficulties to fit into your new school. Well, it is always difficult to get comfortable and used to setting up in a new place at
first,
but with time you will use to it. I would like to suggest you start socializing. I remember you were very active in the cheerleader club, try joining the cheerleader club in your new school. It will not only keep you busy but
also
you will be able to know other allies in your school.
Also
, start taking part in the general classroom discussion, so it will give a teacher and your class fellows a chance to get to know you more. I am very sure that you will make a lot of friends and get used to your new environment. Keep in touch with me and I will always be there when you need me. Looking forward to hearing from you soon your lovely friend, Celine

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
