You were invited to your friend’s birthday party. You missed it and didn’t tell him about that beforehand. Write a letter to him: • Apologize; • Explain the reasons why you missed the party; • Suggest a way to compensate this misunderstanding. Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear ....,
Dear Jay ,
I hope
this
letter finds you well. I am writing this
letter to apologize for missing your birthday party last
week.
You will find it surprising that I left my house on time for your birthday that night. Everything was going well then
suddenly my car had broken. I was really upset because I wanted to meet you on your special day. To resolve this
issue, I contacted a mechanic and when he reached ,he found that there was an issue with the engine and he had to take the car to his garage. All this
consumed my plenty of time. When my car was all repaired ,it was almost 2:00 PM .So I thought I should go back to my home as your party must be done.
I am still feeling so sad. I want to apologise for this
and will set up a meet-up with you soon.We can do it next weekend if you have time.We will enjoy so much and make some new memories. I will wait for your letter.
Your friend,
