“Prevention is better than cure” researching and treating diseases is too costly, so it would be better to invest in preventative measures. To what extent do you agree?

It is widely believed by the strata of our population that taking precautions is more effective than curing illnesses. Because not only does our government need to plan more budget towards the health department but we are
also
sat back by the increase in death rates by losing human lives. So, I comprehensively accede to
this
notion that people should take care of their health by being cautious to not fall prey to deadly diseases and spending money on treatments. Predominantly, by having unhealthy diets and daily regimes, sickness can take a toll on individuals’ fitness and their condition can be severe to a more advanced level for which medical science may not have developed a medicine yet.
Moreover
,
this
can increase the number of deaths in our society, and we will face a plunge in human resources.
For example
, with COVID-19, the world’s economy was hit severely by losing many living souls.
This
could have been avoided if cross-contamination didn’t occur in Wuhan, China. Moving on, if more humans get sick, a country needs to spend more capital on the well-being of the populace.
While
on the contrary
, more healthiness will lead to these funds being spent in different sectors like sports, education, and sustainable industries.
Furthermore
, not only will a community develop with
this
but
also
it will be an inspiration for many others. To draw a close, it can be said that if the public is more caring for their well-being, not only will we not lose our loved ones, but we can
also
achieve a productive and peaceful civilization. We can do more for our planet Earth and humanity will benefit greatly from
this
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
