The maps show the park which was built in 1920 and current construction of the park.
The two maps demonstrate two versions of Grange
Park
, its old construction in 1920 and its new current features.
Considering the right side of the park
, a notable change in the garden
's sections is seen in the maps. On the right of the Eldon Street ,entrance the greenhouse is replaced by a water feature along with
an additional entrance for underground car parking. Moreover
, the pond for the plants and the rose garden
on the right top corner of the old structure are substituted by a playing area and a cafe.
Moving to the centre of the park
, the northern and southern entrances remained unchanged. However
, the middle part where the fountain existed in 1920 changed into a rose garden
surrounded by seating areas.
The left side of the park
consisted previously of two separate rose gardens, a stage, and seating areas. Currently, it turned into one remaining rose garden
in the top left corner and amphitheatre
for concerts in the centre.

Overall
, the design of the park
has changed significantly in today's structure, where the rose garden
is the only section of the park
that stayed in the new version with a noticeable reduction of its space.Submitted by tnteeroo on
