The given table and the chart gives data on expenditure and money required by the British police in 2017 and 2018. Units are calculated in million pounds.

, in 2018 police received a total amount of 318.6 pounds(highest) whereas
in 2017 they received 304.7 pounds(lowest). In terms of how money was distributed, more than half of the budget was spent on giving salaries in both years 2017 and 2018.

, we can see that amount received from the national government was 175.5m and 177.8m in 2017 and 2018 respectively which turned out to be the highest source where other sources contributed the least ie. 38m and 38.5m . In between police received a budget from local taxes of 91.2m and 102.3m in the years 2017 and 2018.
Considering the expenditure, 75% of the budget was utilized for giving salaries in 2017 and 69% in 2018. For buildings and transport
