The plans describe the current and future design of the Southwest Airport after reconstruction the following year.
Overall
, the airport will be expanded with more gates, and the addition of other new amenities and facilities will make it more convenient for both departing and arriving passengers. The departure entrance is on the left side as one faces the building. Upon entering,

control
and security can be seen straight ahead,
while
the check-in desk is on the left and a café is on the right. After redevelopment, a bag-drop area will be added on the left side of the departure hall, and across
that is
check-in before travellers go through
passport
control
. The cafe will be moved to the left side, close to the departure entrances. Shops will be added after passing through
passport
control
and security, which the current airfield does not have. Ahead is the concourse, which at the moment has 8 gates, and passengers may use a moving walkway to go to their boarding gate. The future airport will have a much longer concourse with 18 gates, so the walkway will be replaced by a sky train. Moving on to the arrivals hall, at present
passport
control
and customs are the only services in the hall. Beginning next year,
however
, there will be a cafe, an ATM machine, and a car hire service. Arriving commuters can use these facilities after clearing customs.
