The diagram illustrates
water
rotation in woody areas and urban regions.
Overall
, it can be seen that places with more flora are more permeable to liquid. In the city ,zone most of the processes are diminished.
This
is a cyclical process.
Initially
, in the forest territory when there are rains the
water
infiltrates through the topsoil surface and
then
reaches rock
that is
less permeable. That way the
water
mass runs off through baseflow. The trees, bushes and all kinds of plants are actually helping the actions of
water
vanishing and transpiration with their leave mass.
Then
this
water
rises above and there are new series of rainfalls. Urban zones are much more restricted in those operations because of all of the buildings that interfere with the liquid movement. All of the components of
this
cyclical process are the same but are reduced by force and capacity, leaving very polluted drainage of
water
under the surface.
