The given climograph displays the average monthly temperatures and precipitation levels in the city of Kolkata .
Overall
 , it can be noticed that both rainfall and temperature have been taking the same trajectory with both fluctuating with some slight differences .
To begin
 with , starting in January the weather was cold at a little over 0
degrees
 ,
subsequently
, rainfall was at 200 mm ,
moreover
 , both conditions kept rising gradually until May were the temperature reached 10
degrees
 , and rainfall saw more than 100 mm than what it recorded at the start .
Secondly
 , the period from May to July viewed the most dramatic surge in the climate going from just 10
degrees
 to a staggering 35
degrees
 in just a matter of 2 months ,
on the contrary
 , precipitation was declining steadily for the rest of the span of time reaching its peak in May at above 300 mm and going down over the rest of the months almost reaching its starting point
